Maps have always been a weird obsession of mine, but this one is meaningful on a next level — my childhood neighborhood. I could point out to you the street I had a major wipe-out on my bicycle, the newspaper route (my first job), the creek we swam in during the hot summer days, and that one house someone decided to pick up and move instead of rebuild (?!).
The purpose of design is to evoke emotion, and this one certain does for me.
A Month of Can Designs by Keur Design Studio
During the month of March 2021, I will be creating and posting one can label design each day. The goal of this project is to push myself to experiment with new design skills, discover new fonts and typefaces, and overall challenge my creativity.
